Today was my first day at innovation academy, due to the fact that I could not change my interview with the fire department. When I got to the academy we were split into groups to find ice breaking ideas personally i thought this was a great idea i am a very open-minded outgoing person so i knew it would go good. I was put in a group with Paolo Brescia, Nicole Muniz and Jose. I wasn't really close to them, I usually never talked to them. We sat down and thought but being out going we all started getting close together instead of thinking of icebreaking ideas. Its ironic isn't it we were sent to make icebreakers for others but we started to talk and one thing led to another and we just had fun talking about what we did over the weekend. I guess we didn't need an icebreaker or maybe the icebreaker was the activating of thinking of one. When we realized that we were running out of time we quickly started thinking we got many ideas but the best one was the classic "2 truths 1 lie". Which isn't the most original but it does work. From this experience, I understood that I have to work on time management personally and in groups if they get distracted should get them on task.
