I found “No limits” which is a documentary about the sport no limits and the rivalry that was formed between 2 girls and how it caused once life.
The second was “The secrets of a drug dealer” which is about the life of a drug dealer and how selling drugs works.
The third was “Daredevil the human Spiderman” which was about how a man free climbed one of the highest building in the world at the time after 2 failed attempts.
If I had to put these 3 documentaries in order from best to worst from just reading the synopsis and my personality in mind I would have to say
1. Daredevil the human Spiderman
2. The secrets of a drug dealer
3. No limits
This order came into place because I knew I would connect with daredevil the human Spiderman because of my love of climbing. I picked “ the secrets of a drug dealer for second because I had some friends in North Carolina that are now dug dealers and other that are frequents drug users. “No Limits” came in third because I had no connection with this sport I still didn’t even know what you did in the sport until I watched the documentary.
I always believed that connection was key in anything made to entertain but after watching these 3 documentaries I came to the conclusion the connections is an aspect that can be used to enhance the movie, documentary, book, etc. It is not something that has to be used and even when there is connection that is not enough it is all about the story and how it’s portrayed.
After watching the 3 documentaries my order has completely changed the best documentary I saw was
1. No limits
2. Daredevil the human Spiderman
3. The secrets of a drug dealer
As I watched these documentaries I learned that connection to the viewer is an aspect that can be used but is not essential and just making connection isn’t enough you have to make the viewer feel what happening in the movie. From what I saw the most important aspect in a documentary is how it the story is portrayed
I also loved watching these documentaries since it changed my perspective of documentaries over all when I was a kid and someone would show me a documentary I basically saw someone in front of a camera trying to teach me something. I use to think documentaries only taught you about science or philosophy but in reality a documentary is (according to the oxford diconary) : Using pictures or interviews with people involved in real event to provide a factual report on a particular subject
I have actually enjoyed watching these documentaries while as a kid i never even thought about reading a documentaries synopsis.
Because of these 3 documentaries i am looking forward to making a documentary for the innovation academy
