For the past 30 day i have been trying to face fear in different ways. (take in mind that everyone is afraid of different things, things that you might be a cake walk, while to others might be the scariest thing in the world) The things I tried to overcome went from killing a spider all the way to manning up to my consequances or even back talking a taxi man. If a day came up where i could not over come a fear of mine, i would turn off all the lights of the house and walk from my room to the kitchen grab a snack pack and walk back slowly. After trying to face fear every day i have grown my personality by being more confident and responsible. Now it easier for me to negotiate the price with a taxi driver, its easier for me to tell my mom i broke it. Although im still scared of spiders, since i only killed it once and it was by throwing things at it. I will try to face fear at least twice a week becasue of time constraints on school and other things.
On day 27 i was watching T.V and came across the "Number Game" which is a program that teaches us about the brain basically. In the episode i saw. It showed me the good and bad times you should be a risk-taker. Most of it was about making money at the same time i made the connection on facing fear on a daily basis. The series teaches us that we should never risk something for something we can't see. What it means is that you should not put money in for a prize that you don't know what it will be. But you should though put your money in if there is a 50/50 chance of wining and you double or more of what you have.
